With us here at RFH Classics is this stunning 1951 Vauxhall Wyvern 4 L Series finished in Gloss Black with the very unusual Tan Trim. What a beauty this is, the car was originally supplied on the 21st May 1951 through Batchelor Boles Vauxhall & Bedford Dealers in Leicester to a Mr Leader of Leicester. He went on to own the car until September 1984 when it was sold to Mr Haines of Boston in Lincolnshire. In 2006 it was sold to the third owner where it needed some refurbishment. Adrian, the former owner set about doing that over the last16 years with the amazing results seen here. We are sure you will agree it is now a very beautiful car that has retained so many original features including the original seats, working trafficators, carpets, glass and optional radio that has been fully refurbished and works perfectly. The front carpets show a little wear however they are original and can only be original once. This car has to be one of the best, if not the best Wyvern available for sale today.

In the office we have a history file full of wonderful things such as the original Buff logbook from 1951 as well as the labels that would have been fitted to the switches from new. Also in the folders, of which there are numerous, there are items like the old sales brochure and other sales information all of which add to this car’s wonderful extensive history. Underneath the car is just as lovely as the top and it was recently in a local Vauxhall garage who are doing a feature on the car and how well it has been preserved. The car has filming history too as it featured in the television series Bletchley Circle II with written confirmation and a DVD of the car in the series contained within the history file. The car drives exceptionally well and it certainly turns a few heads wherever it goes.
