Now with us here at RFH Classics we have this 1968 Morris Minor 1098cc Convertible, or often referred to as a Tourer. Finished in the very period colour of Snowberry White the car has a contrasting Black interior and is enhanced further with the recently fitted Mohair roof that is in excellent condition. We will have to follow the Mohair cover for the roof when folded. This genuine Morris Tourer, complete with the correct factory strengtheners is in excellent order and has undergone an extensive program of restoration and refurbishment. The bodywork is in superb condition with excellent paintwork and very good panel gaps. While the drivers door alignment could be slightly improved, it is a minor point that will be addressed prior to sale but is not something that detracts from the overall condition.

The interior matches the exterior’s high standard, featuring well finished exposed body colour detailing and Black vinyl trim that shows very little wear. The front seats fold forward for easy access to the rear and both front seats are fitted with safety belts. During the restoration the boot was not forgotten and has been restored to a high standard. An optional heater is fitted adding comfort for cooler days with the roof down. Speaking of the roof, it operates smoothly, fits well and truly completes the look of the car when raised.

Under the bonnet you find the 1098cc 4 Cylinder engine that is paired to a manual 4 speed gearbox. The engine bay is impressively presented, reflecting the level of care this car has received. The engine starts easily, requiring minimal choke when cold and settles quickly to run smoothly. The car is supplied with a 3 month major mechanical warranty and benefits from being eligible for low cost classic car insurance. All our vehicles are sold clear of finance or insurance damage with a certificate of clearance is provided on handover. We recommend the use of premium unleaded fuel for all our classic vehicles.
