Just arrived back in stock with us here at RFH Classics we have this exceptionally clean example of a 1977 (S) MG Midget 1500 finished in Tahiti Blue with contrasting Tan Trim. We supplied this car to its last owner 18 months ago and recently purchased it back. The car is a real credit to all its former keepers and has been the subject of an extensive previous restoration which was carried out around 81k in March 1986. Since then it has always been dry stored and is still in exceptional condition.

It has a quite unusually low ownership for a vehicle of its age with only 6 former keepers and in 2013 it had a recorded mileage of 97,219 so you can see it certainly not been used a lot since restoration however it certainly is a Midget that you could get in and use on a regular basis and really enjoy. In the office we have a good history file for the car which shows it undergoing a substantial service in March 2020 that included a new Alternator and Heater. Other works undertaken by the MGOC Workshop include Clutch Master and Slave Cylinders and a substantial bill to service, fit new road wheels and tyres and rectify engine and gearbox oil leaks that the car previously had. This is a car that has been well looked after and it shows in the presentation, the vehicle has a lovely hood as is the interior, which really contrasts well with the colour of the car.

Although exempt from needing an MOT, included in our screen price we supply the car with a new MOT, Service and 3 months warranty. Another benefit of this vehicle is that it is eligible for zero rated historic road tax which when coupled with the low cost to insure these cars, makes it a very cost effective classic to own.
