In stock with us at RFH Classics we have this 1977 (S) MGB Roadster finished in Glacier White and still sporting its original Orange Deck Chair Style Seat coverings. Now this little beauty is a bit special for 2 reasons, firstly it’s only done 35,346 miles from new with a absolutely superb service history that includes virtually every MOT test from new along with a whole raft of service invoices to support the low mileage. Secondly, the car has had just 3 owners from new, all of which have lives in Warwickshire where the car was supplied new by Parkside Garage in Lemington Spa. The initial owner owned the car for 8 years and covered just 11,000 miles before selling it to the 2nd keeper who owned the car for the following 28 years before selling it to its 3rd and last owner who purchased the car with 29,200 miles in 2013.

The last owner, as did the first 2, has looked after the car with impeccable attention, in the office I have a substantial history file detailing the work undertaken to maintain the car over the past 46 years. The last owner only sold the car because as a couple they found it difficult to justify owning a car that they were not getting the use out of and wanted to find someone else to pass the guardianship on to who can fully enjoy the car.

When we initially viewed the car I could find so little to fault the vehicle on and had to buy the car, it has subsequently been through our extensive preparation and is now offered in its very genuine, unmolested condition. Personally because it is so original we wouldn’t change a thing about the car. It is easy to look to update an MG but it is very difficult to find one that has been so well maintained.

Although exempt from needing an MOT, the car has always been tested annually and prior to leaving us we will put the car through the workshop for its annual service and MOT test but as it fires up first time and drives so well, we doubt it will need too much additional work. Our screen price includes 3 months warranty and the car is eligible for zero historic road tax making a very cost effective classic to own.
