Just arrived in stock with us at RFH Classics we have the superb 1968 (G) MGB Roadster finished in Tartan Red with complimenting Black Leather Piped with a Red edging. This beautiful example was the subject of a complete rebuild in the early 1990s when it a replacement heritage bodyshell along with a full mechanical rebuild. As you can see from the pictures of the car it looks absolutely stunning but what the pictures do not really show is the quality of the work undertaken with it having superb door gaps, a truly stunning paint finish including the underneath of the shell, all of which have all stood the test of time exceptionally.

Inside the car you will find Black Leather seats that have a Red piping to contrast the exterior, the seats are in very good order as are the carpets and trim panels in the vehicle. The hood, which is Mohair fabric, fits exceptionally well and is without any damage. The car features a Walnut dash with a Wooden Mota-Lita Steering wheel and gear knob. Mechanically the car starts on the first turn and is fitted with a four speed gearbox along with Overdrive that is working as it should. The running gear is in excellent condition as are the wire wheels that off set the car and make it stand apart. In the office we have a very substantial history file for the car that a lot of old MOT tests and service receipts fir the car along with a substantial invoices and details of the late 90’s rebuild.

The age of the car means it is now exempt from needing an MOT however we supply this car with a new MOT and 3 months warranty. This is eligible for zero historic road tax making a very cost effective classic to own. The car is clear of accident damage of finance interest with a certificate supplied to the new owner on handover.
