MG MGB

With us now at RFH Classics we have this early Pull Handle 1963 MGB Roadster finished in Porcelain White with Black Leather. The car is in excellent condition as the pictures show and was the subject of an extensive previous restoration that was completed in 2001 although since then the car has only covered just over 2,200 miles and has been beautifully maintained resulting in a one of the nicest Pull Handle cars seen this year.

The interior of the early MGB now benefits from being fitted with an upgraded Black Leather Seat that provide a significant improvement to the comfort of the car and the carpets and trim kit, also in marching Black are virtually still as new. The dash has been treated to a wooden facia that helps complete the whole look of the interior and to protect you from the elements a double duck hood is fitted. The hood on these early cars is the removeable version which allows for a considerably larger space behind the seats with the hood folding away to fit in the boot.

Under the bonnet the sits a 1798cc reconditioned unleaded engine that was fitted at the restoration and so has done very little mileage. The engine has great oil pressure both from cold and hot when running and when we collected the car and drove it back was very responsive through the 4 speed manual gearbox. Like the rest of the car the engine bay is lovely condition. The car left the factory Red with Rostyle wheels but during the restoration was treated to a Wire Wheel conversion and the stunning White paint finish seen today. In the office we have an extensive history file for the car that includes old MOT tests and photographs of the car along with copies of the restoration invoices details the extensive work undertaken.
