RFH Classics are pleased to bring this very special 1980 MGB GT LE final edition to the market. The 2 registered owner car is certainly a bit special having only done 48 miles from new. Finished in the unique Pewter Silver that they only made the final edition GT cars in, it is fitted with its genuine and very period 'deck chair' striped cloth trim. The build date of the car was the 11th September 1980 and it was originally supplied through the MG Dealer Charles Hurst of Belfast to a collector based in Northern Ireland. This car, along with numerous others formed a part of his private collection that was only disposed of after he passed away. As you can tell from the mileage, it spent most of its life tucked away in storage with little to no use. It was sold from the collection with just 36 miles and today reads just 12 miles more.

The new owner purchased the car with the intention of giving it his wife so that she may begin to enjoy classic cars as much as he does. He had undertaken a sympathetic recommissioning of the vehicles mechanicals in order to bring the car up to MOT required standards. It goes without saying when you see the miles today that she decided classic cars were not for her hence why the mileage has remained as low. The car will be supplied with a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certificate that confirms the car being built with a 4 speed Overdrive and having the cast alloy wheels. The car is build number 482 as confirmed by the Jubilee and LE Owners Club. Records indicate the car was sold on the 29th April 1981 for £5,278 for which there is the original invoice. The car will benefit from being both MOT & Tax exempt.

As mentioned this car it is exempt from an MOT test however prior to delivery it will have been given a comprehensive vehicle inspection, service and independent MOT and come with a 3 Month Parts & Labour warranty.
