* * NOW SOLD * * With us at here at RFH Classics we are pleased to offer this very low mileage 1998 Mercedes C180 Elegance Auto finished in Metallic Green with Cream Cloth trim. This a facelifted W202 model that was introduced in 1996 and ran all the way through until 2000. This low mileage example is an Elegance Model which was probably the most popular model this car was supplied in. It has recently come to us from an estate in Northern Ireland and only had 3 former owners with a remarkably low 41k covered over the past 25 years. The dark Green Metallic paint is in excellent condition with a lovely sparkle when the sunlight catches it. To finish the look it comes complete with Alloy Wheels that are finished in a light Anthracite that compliment the look of the car and are all wearing good tyres.

Inside the car the Cream cloth trim is virtually as new with the seats having no nasty marks or stains and the carpets being protected from new by genuine Mercedes carpet mats that are fitted to the front and rear of the cabin. Being the Elegance model the car comes with a very good level of features such as Front & Rear Electric Windows, Remote Locking with 2 keys, Electric Tilt & Slide Sunroof, Remote Book Opening, Remote Folding Rear Headrests, Child Locks, ABS with Traction Assist and Automatic Gearbox with Sport and Winter Mode. To assist you with parking there is the very useful reverse camera with a display screen mounted next the driver on the front screen.

Under the bonnet sits the 4 cylinder petrol 1799cc engine that is paired to 4 Speed Automatic gearbox for which Mercedes are renowned for. We have recently had the car through our workshop where they undertook an Automatic Gearbox service, Engine Service including Plugs along with a new Air Mass Sensor. When you turn the key the engine is very quite, as you would expect from a Mercedes, and the after using the car for a week or so recently, I can confirm it drives exceptionally well. In the office we have a history file that contains the original Mercedes Handbook with Instruction Manuals and Service Book. The service book contains the 6 stamps confirming the cars mileage and we have a number of old MOT tests in the file too. A big advantage of the C Class is that they are spacious car with a generous boot to match and so make for a perfect classic car that the whole family can enjoy or as a daily driver for someone wanting something a little different.
