RJH Cars have this quite unique Austin A40 Farina offered for sale and she is truly outstanding. It is rare to come across an example such as this having had just 2 owners+ during its 60 years. The first keeper, Miss Sumner, owned the car from new until 2002 when it was sold to Mr Abrahams. Included in the history we have in the office are MOTs from 1967 to 1993 plus some current certificates and tax discs from 1963, loads of handbooks and workshop manuals. The history file is full of gems such as the original service wallet (BP Energol Lub) with 7 invoices in the wallet, plus the original BMC Maintenance Book with 10 stamps. It also has invoices from ’63, the original V5 confirming Daisy Summer as the first registered owner. The file also contains a collection of old tax discs dating back to 1963 and a petrol rationing book. It all makes fascinating reading. In the file is an original copy of Autocar, dated February ’63 costing 1s 3d, workshop manual, driver’s handbook plus other reference books. Due to its age this car it is exempt from an MOT test however prior to delivery it will have been given a comprehensive vehicle inspection, service and independent MOT and come with a 3 Month Parts & Labour warranty.
